Important Message for Founding Members
Hello to the wonderful and supportive Founding Members of Dolce Vita Wellness & Medical Spa!
As you know we have fully transitioned into the Village at Rancharrah and closed our doors at our Sandhill location in South Meadows. With still some growth phases ahead, we wanted to express our gratitude for your patience and understanding during our construction dust, and most importantly continuing to grow with us and be a part of our Dolce Vita family. We are honored to have you as a Founding Member and supporting Reno’s favorite local spa!
We hope you are enjoying your membership and all it entails, as we have challenged through our soft opening phase, opening new lounges, and completing all the final details. We have had several questions on how the Founding Membership works, and the changes involved. We have tried to make this transition as easy as possible, and have highlighted here the main details.
We had to get creative when it came to raising capital for an expanded new location, but we wanted to be able to give our guests something amazing they would remember from the start. Your Founding Membership made it possible to be able to purchase some of the creative and artistic touches found in the final construction to make each detail of the spa inspirational! We could not have done it without the support of over 80+ Founding Members’ support. We love our members and love that you love the spa too!
3 Founding Memberships were offered in different levels:
Annual prepaid purchase at $125/mo, for day spa treatments
Annual prepaid purchase at $165/mo, for day spa treatments
Annual prepaid purchase at $235/mo, for day spa and medspa treatments

As a Founding Member, you now have a “spa bank” that is in your account for use on spa treatments. You can choose any spa treatment during the month, and your specified pricing ($125 or $165) will apply to current priced treatments, retail products, enhancements, or beverages.
Founding Members who purchased at $125, and $165 (annually prepaid) will receive an automatic 10% discount on all treatments, retail, and beverages. Founding Members who purchased at the $235 prepaid amount will receive an automatic 15% discount on all purchases.
On top of all the benefits and member perks, you are entitled to a complimentary beverage at the Nourish Wellness Bar, now open. Each time you visit the spa for a treatment, enjoy a sparkling cocktail or mocktail. As a Founding Member, you are invited to exclusive Members Only Fireside Reception events, held monthly on the third Thursday of the month. Enjoy live outdoor music, hosted cocktails, and small bites. We look forward to getting to know you in Reno’s living room at The Village at Rancharrah.
Minor changes in the program mean a few transitions. Now, instead of only a “member massage or facial”, you may select ANY treatment on the menu and your member pricing will be recognized and applied. With our previous membership, only a limited member treatment was offered, and any upgrades or changes would incur the full-priced difference in price, without a discount. We wanted to be able to offer our Founding Members value priced treatments in ANY of our many new treatment categories without limitations!
Your spa banked credits will stay on your account and never expire as long as you are an active Founding Member of Dolce Vita Wellness Spa and until you are ready to reserve an appointment or make a purchase. If you accrued credits from our previous membership they will be transferred to “spa dollars” and deposited into your spa bank.
As promised, a fully prepaid annual membership earns you additional complimentary credits in the second year at Dolce Vita! Starting January 2022, we will award our Founding Members $85 per month, each of 12 months ending December 2022. As a thank you for helping in our startup efforts, let us take care of you for a second year of treatments. The $85 can be used towards any day spa treatments or rolled over for use month to month. The only cost due at the end of treatment would be the difference in treatment price, given your member pricing.
The new location is a 10,000 sq ft space with day spa, medspa, and wellness in an inspiring setting of natural and creative elements. There are now 12 day spa and 5 medspa treatment rooms to serve you with expanded availability. We have added 3 relaxation lounges, a Nourish Wellness Bar, an outdoor veranda and patio space, beautiful scenic views of the lake, whirlpool hot tub, mens and womens dressing rooms, steam and infrared saunas, and a new body treatment vichy table, with the same great, customized professional service and skilled therapists.
As of this email, all lounges are open and available for relaxation, including the Women’s Sanctuary Atrium, Fireside Lounge, Nourish Bar, Outdoor Veranda, Womens and Mens dressing rooms, Infrared saunas, and steam sauna.
You may have heard that we have a live jellyfish feature at the spa. Everyone is excited to see the exotic floating movement in our newest lounge, Ocean Meditation Lounge. Since they are new fragile friends, the setup process has to be completed correctly so the jellyfish can survive. It takes approximately 4 weeks for the water, levels, and nitrates to be perfectly adjusted. The Ocean Meditation Lounge will be available as soon as it is deemed sustainable to showcase the jellyfish
Moving into a new expanded location did bring about some price changes, but BIG amenities along with it. In a lot of ways, we are now able to offer many of the amenities of the larger casino spas, without the hustle of a corporate or smokey casino facility and less customised tourist environment. We love to serve our local Reno Community and will continue to bring you the first class service you are used to, and MORE!
In general, prices are now more in line with larger, amenity-based spas, but still well below the average nationwide. Our 50 minute relaxation massage and Organic Essential Facial is now priced at $125, our 80 minute is $175, and our 105 minute is $225 . (Remember, your member pricing will be applied to any treatment).
We still have the most highly-trained therapists in the industry, and offer first class enhancements, products and innovative treatments. We comparatively rank still below other casino pricing with much more value! See our full pricing menu HERE. Your value priced treatments and Founding Member pricing cannot be combined with other offers or discounted pricing, including packages, as they are already discounted.

FAQ's:
As with any other promotion, we cannot combine discounts. A Founding Membership cannot be transferred to another person. Founding Memberships cannot be refunded, but your paid value never expires. There is no cash value paid out if you cannot utilize the free 12 months. The free 12 months cannot be redeemed for gift cards.
We ask that you give at least 24 hours advance notice to change an appointment type or time. If we don’t hear from you the evening prior to your appointment, a same day change fee of 50% will apply. If you fail to arrive for your regularly scheduled appointment, the full 100% fee will be charged to the card on file. As always we try to accomodate any emergencies, but must honor the time your provider has set aside specifically for your appointment.
All of our new membership programs are intended to be used individually. However, the Founding Member may release spa credit in the amount of a full price treatment to a friend, family member or guest. We do encourage family members to look into a current member program that best suits them, or the Founding Member can purchase a day pass for their guest at 10% off.
We welcome you to utilize the spa and our customized treatments as much as you feel during the course of the month. Your spa bank credits will be redeemed at the allocated amount each time you visit the spa. The free 12 months of membership credits will not begin until January 2022, even if spa bank credits are utilized early.
We welcome members to use the amenities, the lounges, whirlpool hottub, the steam and sauna rooms whenever a treatment is reserved or day pass is used. This allows us to manage capacity needs and resources. With a member base of over 250 members now, we are no longer able to offer an unlimited sauna membership.
The Founding Membership offer was a limited time offer during the startup phase of construction, and is no longer available. Our Life in Balance Membership is now regularly available for purchase on a monthly basis, at the same monthly rates, but does not include the extra 1 year of account credits. You can find our most current Life in Balance information on the website.
The year 2020 and 2021 has proven extremely challenging. We need your additional support and patience as we course through the growth phase, soft opening, and grand opening. We have been working through the normal growing pains and still working through processes, hiring and training new staff, and making sure all details are extremely well planned and special before announcing a grand opening celebration, but it will be soon!
